Gene Solutions and Bethesda Medical Provided Free Circulating Tumor DNA(ctDNA) Screening Tests at the 365CPS Bloom with Hope Event

Singapore, March 1st and 2nd, 2025Gene Solutions, in proud partnership with Bethesda Medical, a trusted healthcare provider in Singapore for over 20 years, were inspired by the profound resilience of nearly 1,500 cancer fighters and supporters who gathered at the 365 Cancer Prevention Society’s Bloom with Hope event.

Hosted by the 365 Cancer Prevention Society (365CPS), a social service agency dedicated to cancer prevention since 2003, with the tagline “Hope in Every Step”, It’s a recognition of the journey, a journey filled with challenges and triumphs, but ultimately, a journey of hope —a hope to prevent, a hope to fight, and a hope to conquer cancer. On this path, Gene Solutions hopes to accompany and inspire proactive health choices and demonstrate that the road to a healthier future starts with understanding, awareness, and early action to community.

The two-day weekend festival, featuring cancer education, prevention programs, and outdoor activities, provided Gene Solutions and Bethesda Medica with an opportunity to offer free ctDNA cancer screening tests to over 120 participants holding CHAS Blue/Orange government healthcare subsidy cards. This initiative aimed to enhance access to early detection, a big factor in improving cancer outcomes.

Recognizing the critical role of early cancer detection, we hope that our humble contributions and commitment will enhance Singapore’s comprehensive awareness campaign for cancer.

“We are deeply committed to making genetic testing accessible to everyone,” said Dr. Christopher Wong – Director, Gene Solutions. ” Our partnership with Bethesda Medical and 365CPS at the Bloom with Hope event allowed us to provide and introduce SPOT-MAS, a non-invasive screening method using ctDNA technology for early cancer detection, to individuals who may not regularly have access to such services.”

Ms. Shantal Chan, Business Development Director from Bethesda added, “Bethesda is proud to collaborate with Gene Solutions and 365CPS in this meaningful initiative. Early detection is crucial in cancer prevention and management, and we are dedicated to supporting community-based efforts that promote health equity.”

The Bloom with Hope event provided a platform for participants to connect, share their experiences, and find support. The free ctDNA cancer screening initiative underscored the event’s commitment to empowering individuals with the tools and resources they need to navigate their cancer journeys.
