Building on the success of our first Cancer Screening and Detection Workshop on 10th and 11th of August, we took the next step on our journey in Ipoh, Perak, on September 7th and 8th. Hosted at the NCSM-Caritas center, this event brought together a truly diverse group of about 50 participants—cancer survivors, patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals. Each came with their own story, but we were all united by a shared hope that early detection can save lives.

Throughout the workshop, Dr. Ahmad Rosli and Mr. Raja Iswara encouraged us all to take action, stressing the importance of early detection in fighting cancer. Their words reminding us that advanced technologies hold the potential to bring real change. Meanwhile, Dr. Malwinder Singh, a Consultant Oncologist from Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur, added a deeper layer to this conversation, showing us how early detection isn’t just about catching cancer sooner, but it’s about offering a better chance in giving a hope for better outcomes.

This time in Ipoh is part of something larger. In collaboration with NCSM, we continue to engage communities across Malaysia in meaningful discussions, highlighting the potential of Multi-Cancer Early Detection and ctDNA technologies. Together, we’re building awareness and fostering a growing commitment in cancer care. We believe this collective effort is paving the way for a future where more lives are saved, one early detection at a time.

And our journey is far from over—our next stop will be in Melaka.
